CEDAR FALLS GUN CLUB'S 23^rd ANNUAL IOWA STATE HIGH SCHOOL TRAP SHOOT RESULTS

The Cedar Falls Gun Club proudly announces the winners of its 23^rd Annual Iowa State High School Trap Shoot held Saturday, April 26, 2008, on the home grounds of the Iowa State Trap Shoot.  Two hundred and fifty shooters representing thirty schools participated in this year’s shoot.  Persistent, gusting winds and unseasonably cold weather contributed to individual and team scores that were lower than those typically earned in past years, but the winners stood tall against these conditions.  All shooters demonstrated safe gun handling, while braving the elements and enjoying a great day filled with sunshine, camaraderie, and the huge attendance of family and community well-wishers.  Nearly sixty Cedar Falls Gun Club volunteers lent their support, as well.  Again this year, the Waterloo and Cedar Falls McDonald’s generously provided the impressive trophies and medallions awarded to the champions listed below:
